"Some of the staff should not be customer facing. We had trouble with the check in staff & with valet. Mere questions seemed to be irritating. The room was comfortable, clean - however feels alittle dated. "

"The downstairs rooms were quite dark. It was confusing as to when they would clean the room we checked in Friday they said day, three which seemed to be Sunday to us, but it wasn’t so we did not have clean towels or bathmat. The breakfast was very decent lots of choices for a small breakfast fruit yogurt, toast, waffles, coffee, and juice. We had a group of people and I wish there had been a room that we could’ve all gathered in to play games and visit the woman in the breakfast room, and the woman at the front desk were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable"

"Clean and nice grounds for the hotel. Would've preferred a room facing the interior pool and gardens rather than the freeway but still not too bad. Was told the EV chargers were non functional on check in but one still worked so two cars could charge."

"It was beautiful! Comfortable, cozy and Romantic. Continental breakfast was delish and prepared so cute. Was there to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and she Loved it ! Beautiful views as well with a short walk to Capitola shopping center. "

"Location: Good combination of quiet, residential location and a short walking distance to the beach and shops. Inn facilities, breakfast service and staff better than expected. The room we had was large and comfortable; fireplace was a plus but wished the outdoor tub worked as advertised. Tub needed cleaning and jets were non-functional. Overall, minus the tub, a pleasant one night stay. "
