"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? "Our stay at the Bryn Eiddon lodge was amazing, the views were unreal and is located in a very peaceful and private area. The lodge has everything you need, everything was clean and functioned perfectly. We loved it (especially our pup) and will definitely be returning!"

"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). "Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. "The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. "This is a small hotel located within easy walking distance of "downtown." It is basic but nice and the staff are great. There is a restaurant/pub across the parking lot where you check in. There is also a park with a walking trail behind the hotel that leads to the city centre. "

"I had a really lovely stay, my room was small but tastefully decorated. There were a few marks on the wall that could do with touching up. The tea tray was good quality as was the breakfast. The best thing about this hotel it the staff who were all fabulous. Be careful of the parking as its only 4 hours on the front so best park at the back if possible."
