"Property very beautiful a big. Rooms are not very clean and need some maintenance."

"We stayed one night with our children ages 8 and 10. Our children thought Aquila was magical and thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and their time with the animals. Food was good with plenty of variety and very friendly waiting and serving staff. All in all a great experience however a few improvements can be made: 1) There were a lot of flies at the lunchtime buffet which were enjoying the uncovered cakes and puddings. Please cover the food to minimise this. 2) Blankets should be provided on the morning safaris. 3) Safari guests should be requested to turn off/disable bleeping/shutter noises on their camera and electronic equipment. There are lots of senses used to enjoy the African bush including listening to birds, animals communicating with one another and the sounds of elephants treading the earth. Electronic sounds completely ruin this! 4) The pool water is extremely cold! Any chance of getting some heating?"

"The staff at this hotel are very professional and helpful; this was our third time staying there. The room was very clean and the hotel is really lovely. It is situated directly across from the sea. There is a restaurant onsite, but we did not eat there. "

"The 3 bedroom apartment is large and has a balcony with a braai. The main bedroom has it own bathroom (bath and shower) while the other bedrooms share a bathroom (shower only) via the passage upstairs. There is a WC downstairs in the living space and large kitchen. There is a great view of the mountains. We wish we had found this gem earlier, ideal location in the mall and lots of safe parking. Friendly staff."

"FANTASTIC STAY!!! The room was beautiful, the views of the mountains and clouds every morning was a delight to see. After booking I saw a couple of mixed reviews but honestly this stay exceeded my expectations. And the gym was GREAT! Amazing set up - has everything you need for a decent workout. Breakfast had a great range each morning and had dinner one night at the reesturant and the portion was huge! "

"The game drive guides are amazing. We had JayLee who has so much knowledge and is determined to find the Big 5. He never disappointed. We stayed in Tilney Manor but would have preferred Gondwana but we found out there was a problem with our booking and were moved. The reserve is vast but has so much wild life."

"The property was perfect, quaint but spacious rooms and the rolling hills and pool is spectacular! The staff were amazing and we would definitely stay here again! "

"Nice Hotel and Staff in a convenient location. The only issue is the traffic noise from a major road that backs up to the property."
