Brilliant for the start of the Two Oceans marathon. And a short jog to Green Point park for parkrun! The room was comfortable and the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was great. The location was really convenient.

I liked my stay so much that I re-booked for the end of my trip. As a solo female traveller, the location was excellent, with key Sea Point amenities nearby. Also, key was easy Uber access to the start of the Two Oceans marathon. I left earlier than planned and was probably the first runner at the start in Newlands! Breakfast was great and the room was really comfy, with heating - a must after I got drenched in Cape Town’s rain. I’d previously only stayed in Air bnb’s in COT but I would highly recommend Villa Rosa.

Historic and charming home, with outstanding breakfast, and gracious staff with kind hearts! Its the exceptional details of an elegant setting, generous breakfast with extra touches, that make it very special. Homemade pastries, organic marmalades, delicious coffee and honey & nuts to top off the warm home made oats and more. Great beds, linen, and towels..spa standards! I felt very welcome and loved the overall atmosphere. The food was delicious, the room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and the area felt safe. Easy access to hiking trails just a few blocks away and downtown was walkable in under an hour (or uber was never more than a minute away). I would absolutely recommend and will definitely stay at the Villa Rosa again if I am back in Cape Town.

Fantastic stay only one comment would be that the walls are a bit thin and we could hear the appt next door moving about and coughing etc.....regardless the location, facilities and balcony were above expectation....we will come back again!

If you want to feel like you’re staying with your favourite cousins, this is the spot. Staff are sweet, owners friendly and helpful. Great communication. Rooms are all different (in a good way) and the breakfast is fabulous. My only suggestion is to offer a laundry option. Tbh they probably would have done so if I asked.

What I liked. Very convienent location. Room was beautiful. They gave me an extra duvet which was nice. There was a very nice guard at night who would see us to our car and make sure we were ok. The beds were comfortable the water was hot . room was gently heated not over heated. It is on High Level rd which can get busy in the day but it didnt bother us at all. Lighting was a bit dim but we were ok. Would definitely come back.
