The apartment is in a good location, quiet and security is very evident. this our second visit. The facilities in the apartment were good, new washing machines and it was clean. The bed was a double. Any cleaning, services etc cost extra, but we didn't need it. The check in is only operated by an agent and not the block so we couldn't leave bags earlier - but communication was possible.

Room not cleaned in 2 weeks, no clean towels and had to buy my own toilet paper. Extremely disappointed. There are better places to spend my time and money

Didn't like all the biometric security to get in and leave the property. You need to get face scanned twice and use a magnetic disk three times to get a car out of the basement parking. Feels like one is living in a prison. Apartment was poorly maintained. Water leaked out of the bath onto the floor, sink was clogged, refrigerator wasn't cold enough to keep food preserved. Apt does have aircon which was great when the loadshedding wasn't active.

great location near cape town's gay village. the apartment is a good size with a great balcony but it needs a good cleansing and some updates such as the bathtub & shower head. The TV audio system was a bit awkward as well.

I will surely book it again and the security was excellent, the in-house swimming pool my kids enjoyed it very much and my husband continued to gym because of the in-house gym. I loved the apartment it was spacious and comfortable.

Great apartment, bad check-in experience

The apartment is great and is located within a walking distance from many points of interest like V&A Waterfront and Long St. The apartment is big and has all the appliances needed for a comfortable stay. The only shortcoming of my experience was the check-in. I had no one to receive me at the time of my arrival. I spent more than 24 hours traveling and of course I didn't get the late message saying that I was suppose to collect the apartment's key at another building. Please notice that not everyone will have a telephone line available by the time they arrive in SA, specially the ones coming from overseas. Arriving at this other building I was told by the security that was no key/package for me there (now you imagine yourself just arriving in a strange country after long hours of travel). After a few minutes he finally found the package and I was able to get in the apartment. I also had problems collecting the breakage and cleaning fees (please notice that you still need to pay these fees on your arrival apart from what you have paid already in hotels.com - why not to charge it here already?). We had to to schedule the encounter two times to finally get the fees collected (first one the host was running late and we had to postpone due our tight agenda). This is very bad if you are a tourist and really have to be on time for tours and specific attractions. I understand that it was probably a very specific situation, so I give it my recommendation anyway.

Nice area, supermarket and cafe's close by

Located nice and central to downtown, as well as V&A Waterfront. Maximum 15 minutes walk to these areas. We felt safe enough while walking around. Lot's of historical buildings around, the area is being transformed and has lots of "funky" cafe's around. There was an issue with access to WiFi on our access to the unit however. We arrived on a Saturday and had no access until Monday afternoon - very frustrating. Other than that our stay was very satisfactory.
