Beautiful Manor & Peaceful Surroundings

From the moment we arrived to the minute we left we felt so looked after. Unfortunately they resold the room we had booked and paid for - and were unable to move us to the correct room, as they were fully booked. However; they did offer us dinner in the hotel restaurant that evening, on them, which was gratefully received - and the food and wine was delicious! We only stayed for one night, but certainly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and attentive staff. We especially loved that they serve breakfast there until 4pm! We would not hesitate to stay here again, only next time we would definitely book to stay for longer. We would like to say a BIG thank you to all the staff there for a wonderful stay! 😊

We recently stayed at the Hout Bay Manor. The hotel is very nice and appointed well. The room was spacious, but like a lot of hotels in South Africa, electrical outlet in the rooms are limited. The room was very nice with all the amenities of a first class room. Well decorated, refrigerator, safe nice shower, separate bath, etc. The working staff here was friendly and will engage in conversation, while the desk staff and management was more stand offish. The room came with a nice breakfast, served to order. The pool and patio area is nice. There is a bar plus a sitting area with a fireplace and tv. The wifi is limited and don't try to get it in your room. All in all this is a very nice hotel.

Heard so much about this hotel, but didn't quite live up to its reputation, beautiful building and decor but lacks atmosphere. We had to search for staff to serve us a pre dinner and post dinner drink! Think more staffing is required.
