"Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge! We appreciated the in-room Keurig and small dining table, as we had an early-morning whale watching tour one day so we were able to breakfast in our room. The Main Street restaurant is good and right across the street, with outside tables available. We spent several hours in the comfortable porch chairs, reading and watching the little juncos hop around feeding. Our only small complaint was that the in-room refrigerator was fairly loud. Other than that we were very happy with our stay. "

"Great property located right on the Cabot trail! Cottages were perfect for families and there were lots of activities and restaurants close by. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends."

"This resort has yurts and domes as well as rooms in the lodge. The yurts and domes do not have their own baths. The lodge rooms where we were did. The room had a double bed and a single. The double was quite comfortable, the single not so much. Our room was on the bottom floor. There was a restaurant attached and the option to have a package with breakfast and dinner. Though we didn't have the package we did eat a breakfast and a couple of dinners. The food was excellent. They have music on Thursday and Saturday nights. We were there on Thursday. There was a Cape Britton traditional music group that was wonderful. There is a trail to a bay of the ocean. It is really quite nice. A combination of camping and lodge resort. It was one of the few places we stayed that had air conditioning and as it worked out was also the only time it was needed"

"We had such a great time here! The location is awesome, the time in the hammocks was sublime, and it's not too far from the beach (~35 min by car), which was great for paddleboarding, swimming, etc. A couple guests (including us) did not get the room/suite they reserved on Expedia, so I'd advise guests to confirm your room with the owner directly once you've booked. In our case it worked out fine, as we got one of the adorable cottages and it was awesome; the owners were super helpful and lovely. Having a firepit was awesome - like camping but better! We loved the hot tub and all the different lounging spot options. A great spot to unwind and relax by the sea. I hope we can be back! My only note is that the chemical/floral cleaning smell when we first checked in was so strong, it gave both me and my daughter a headache. It was gone by the second day, but I'd suggest notifying the owner in advance (which I failed to do) if you have a scent sensitivity."
