"Deer Harbor is Awesome! And the Deer Harbor Inn is a great place to stay! Once we had the key code for our room we found a cozy, inviting environment. We turned on the fireplace/heater and warmed it up. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well lit. The parking was right behind the building and we could see our car from our room which was nice."

"The cabins are amazing and have great views of the harbor. We woke up to see deer grazing and spent the evenings watching the seals swim around as the grey herons flew around. The cabins are clean and warm. They have a solid kitchen set up, just bring your own spices and oil to cook with. We used our BBQ both nights, using foil we brought for easy clean up. Beds were decent and several pillows provided for nesting. They have puzzles, games, movies to borrow in the gift shop. Just be sure to grab them early before the office closes, they close early (5pm). We did late check in and it was easy to follow. The property is beautiful and we hated to leave. The TV's are small and no streaming set up, but we were staring out the windows anyways as we put together a puzzle."
"There is little soundproofing between rooms and every step can be heard from the room upstairs and next to us. We could hear every step from above and also conversations that prevented us from getting much sleep. We were also woken early by guests in the room next door who entertained guests on the porch and took chairs from our porch without regard for us in the room next to them. We don’t understand why guests were given rooms next to us when there were only 4 rooms occupied in the entire building on one of the nights we stayed. (There other night we were told it was fully booked). It is an older property so I understand that the noise issue may be unavoidable. I recommend the management warn guests of the thin walls and also those staying on the first floor will likely hear all from the floor above. "
"A neat spot close to the ferry terminal with a view of the water from the big lawn in the back. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We would definitely come back if in the area."
"Only a quick overnight, but they took dogs.
Higher priced, and much nicer than what we needed, but would go back anytime. Spent a lot of time in Friday Harbor over decades, and never knew this place was there. Off season, so hard to guess what like in high season, but excellent experience.

"We had an amazing weekend here! Wonderful location, great rooms and amazing owner. The breakfast was really good and it was a great time to talk with the host and other guests. They also had some goats and alpacas we enjoyed feeding during some of our down time."
