"Very friendly and helpful staff in the reception and cleanliness was also good thanks to the crew. The rest had normal standards for an average hotel in Phuket. The area and surroundings was pretty uneventful and the view from the pool and upper floors was, except from the sea, a lot of old constructions. What made it a bad experience was their booking/management team. We were supposed to make a reservation for two nights but mistakenly did three. We noticed it immediately as the reservation was confirmed and contacted the hotel to change dates. Due to “a policy” they don’t do changes. Needless to say, once we go back to Phuket in a week for another few days of vacation, we certainly won’t choose Bandara beach resort."

"The resort is next to some nasty smelling rotting trash. You will have to plug your nose walking down to the breakfast area. The food was ok but the foul stenches around the property make it hard to enjoy food. The beach is disappointing. It’s a pond and no real beachfront. Also sketchy looking murky water. No waves. Nothing. The pool is nice but the tiles were dirty, missing in many spots and kids in the adult pool. Bandages floating everywhere too. Bed is like a rock. Uncomfortable. Worth the $80 tho. Private pool access is nice too. Don’t drink the water! Not even for brushing teeth! "

"This hotel was lovely and the staff was great! Everything about this hotel was very nice and it was very clean. I did have a complication there with my original room which I had a mini leak through the wall. I called the front desk and they cleaned it up and I was offered another room with a upgrade from my regular room to a VIP suite with a swimming pool in the room. I thought that was very kind and generous of them. So yes, this place is very accommodating. I traveled by myself and felt extremely safe and well taken care of. So yes I definitely would recommend to solo travelers."

"The hotel was very unique! The staff were helpful, plenty of room to chill out and they had games. Room was very nice- it had a balcony and the bathroom was a decent size- it was also clean. Air conditioning worked perfectly which was great on the really hot nights, the only small issue is that the room are quite dark but other than that would stay here again!"
