"What an awful experience, where do I start? A few days before my trip I contacted the property. The owner first said he couldn't host me because he was fully booked and asked me to cancel the reservation. After a few exchanges he said he could host me if I booked directly with him (at a higher price than what I had booked). At that time I could no longer cancel my reservation without paying any fee so, after he said he wouldn't respect my reservation I reported the issue to Expedia. Not so happy...

"Anamabo Beach Resort is one of our favorite places on earth! The food is always delicious - favorites include tilapia with banku and grilled lobster when they have it. breakfast is sumptuous and the fresh pineapple melts in you mouth. The staff is always friendly and helpful - many have been at the resort for years, and they never fail to remember our family. Beds are comfortable, and the rustic vibe is so relaxing. We can feel our blood pressure drop every time we come through the gate!"

We told him we have paid for our room and have a confirmed reservation. He said sorry the place has been closed and that no one is working there anymore for sometime. I am still trying to get my refund. Sad to say this site travelocity has done very...
