Hotels with connecting rooms in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia

"Was a last minute discussion to try and find rooms in Sydney. A big mistake on my part for leaving it so long. Most hotels were full. Was able to get 2 rooms with double beds at The Simon. Was unsure what to expect as we had never stayed at The Simon before. Was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a profesional staff that had us registered and into our rooms in an instant. Both rooms were quite large. They had a living room area with a couch and chair, a work area with a long table and chairs, a seperate room for the bedroom with a door to led into the washroom area. The toilet and shower were in one room, with the powder room with a large mirror and sink in an adjoining area. The double beds, though a little small for my liking, were very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant. The food was delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. "
