"We had an amazing holiday at Hotel Hambros. The staff, the pool, the location, the breakfast and restaurant. Guido and Stefania at the front of house went above and beyond to help us and Susan by the pool was a ray of sunshine every day and couldn’t do enough for us. If we had any type of problem or question or concern everyone was quick to be of service to us and help us out. No problem was to big and we were made to feel so welcome. We will definitely be coming back again. "

"The villa itself is stunning, lovely pool area and grounds and staff really great, friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed in was okay - we knew it was in the basement of the villa, but it was very dark. We had booked it as it came with a kitchen and perhaps an oversight on our part but there was no oven, the fridge was tiny and a real lack of cooking utensils, it was very basic and meant we did not really cook while staying despite having wanted to. "I went here to stay while I was going to see Elton John in Lucca. When I arrived, I was given a personal tour of the grounds... pure Tuscan living! When I went to go to the pool, I found myself in the kitchen, and was introduced to other guests staying there and was offered a seat during lunch...pool was too inviting. What’s nice is that it feels like a home, guest gathered in a parlor or in the kitchen and sat around and talked... a lovely experience. Would stay here again. "
