Very welcoming hosts! The room was really clean and had a great view. The hotel has an amazing back yard that you can't miss. The breakfast was really delicious! We would definitely prefer to stay in the same hotel next time we will be in Paestum.

Staff provided a friendly check-in and parking was nearby and free. We had a spacious room but it was on the third floor with no lift. The wi-fi access was spotty and the air conditioner was not strong. The breakfast was very nice.

Classy Accommodations at an Affordable Price

Il Granaio dei Casabella is a former granary which was converted into an estate, then converted again into guest rooms for tourists. Our room was safe, clean, and comfortable with a modern bathroom. The bed, however, was a little firm for our taste. The main building offers a couple of nice rooms for sitting, reading, and relaxing. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with flowering vines and shrubs. Small birds roost in the vines and twitter at sundown. The buildings seethe with old world charm. Veronica will be your hostess, and she is as helpful as she is adorable. The buffet style breakfast includes house-baked sweets and cornetti as well as the usual cheeses and meats. A liveried attendant will prepare your hot beverages, eggs, and crepes. Il Grenaio offered the best cornetti and one of the best cappuccinos on our 17-day trip. This lodging is within easy walking distance to the Paestum archeological site. This is one of those places which make you feel good about yourself at a price you can afford.

This is a cool property and very convenient to town and ruins. Breakfast was nice with an amazing assortment of homemade goodies. However, there could be an improvement in amenities in the bathroom and room. Very few toiletries offered. No hair dryer.

Lovely old villa with spacious rooms and nice bathrooms. The room had air conditioning but it was still a little warm. Our room was on the west side of the building so the afternoon sun made the room warm. The breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is walking distance to the archeological park, but take a taxi to the train station. We would definitely stay here again. The property is lovely.
