"We had an excellent weekend at Horseshoe Riverside Lodge. The location is fantastic, and the place looks exactly like the photos — everything is true to what you see online. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated with a charming Texas style that really helps you connect with the place and its surroundings. Wendy is an outstanding host: welcoming, attentive, and truly caring. We felt very comfortable during our stay. We will definitely be coming back in the summer to fully enjoy the river. "What an enjoyable stay we had! Just wanted to have a nice getaway for our anniversary, and look forward to time away from the to-dos of home and busyness of a life with young kids, and this was just what we needed! Darrin and Keith are so kind, friendly and exceptionally hospitable. The breakfast was out of this world, and the attention to detail was terrific. They listened to everything, were attentive to our needs and also gave us plenty of space. We will definitely be back, and will be telling everyone we know to book here and book DIRECT! "

The weather did not permit us fo enjoy the lake which is walking distance from the hotel. But all in all I had an enjoyable time at Canyon Lake. I would love to go back to enjoy the lake."
