"The hotel was better than expected. We had a nice room with a terrace (view over the ocean) and a balcony (view to the jungle). The room was large and had two king-size beds which was great for our family of four. The AC was silent and effective. The restaurant was good and during the breakfast (you need to order the night before) you have the view yourself. They helped us with the luggage transport from the beach to the hotel and return. "It was a beautiful place to stay right on the beach with the sound of the waves crashing and the birds chirping. Very close to restaurants and all of the tours and the host was awesome and very accommodating! Highly recommend!"

"House was exactly as advertised and had a great view. There was a berry tree in front of the house and every day two red Macaws would perch there followed by two toucans. The breakfast was great and you can walk down the stairs right to the beach. The only drawback was the hike up to the house, but everything else was perfect."

"Mariadelia welcomed us to the hotel with smoothies and refreshing towels. She was such an angel our whole stay. She anticipated our needs, answered our questions, and helped us book activities. I hope she gets paid highly because she certainly deserves it! We also loved talking with the bartender, Diego who was a sweetie. One of the chefs, Randall also came over and took a picture of me and my husband without us having to ask. Everyone on staff clearly works hard to upkeep this lovely getaway. The food was delicious, the pool was refreshing, and we LOVED having access to the private beach! We are already talking about coming back to celebrate an anniversary- see you then Natural Drake Bay Hotel!"

Aguila de Osa Rainforest & Marine Adventure Lodge

"Aguila del Osa is a dream hotel with wonderful views from the bedroom and main lobby/restaurant. The hotel gardens are beautiful and we saw many birds including hummimg birds right outside our room. There is a nice walk around the hotel and you can also take a trail into the rainforest and the nearby Cocalito Beach, All the staff speak excellent english and are very friendly and provide excellent service. The meals are very delicious with generous portions. The hotel offers a good range of excursions and we really enjoyed the boat trip and snorkelling in Isla del Caño. Other guests went to Corcovado National Park for the day although we opted for the overnight stay booked through another Company. We would highly recommend visiting Drake Bay and staying at Aguila del Osa Hotel."
