"Check in was odd, bit of a contentious conversation regarding our platinum status and whether that entitled us to any upgrades/perks. Was informed that we had been moved to a clean room as opposed to a dirty one, and that was an “upgrade”…and that we tried to check in early and that was an issue. Check in time was 4pm, we arrived at 3:50pm. Was then told any upgrades had to be asked for in advance, which has never been our experience as Expedia Platinum members. Seemed more like excuses than explanations, but tha was the only real issue.
Spa was fantastic, restaurants were excellent, staff in spa and restaurants were excellent, room was comfortable minus a terrible showerhead. Will definitely return, as it all felt like good value for price, and even on a busy Saturday afternoon, we had a relaxing and enjoyable time. "
