"Room was not clean, had to ask for listed amenities (shampoo was empty, hair dryer not in room). The rooms are dirty and very outdated. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was okay at best ( if you like cold cereal and egg beaters). "

"The name is wrong on Hotels.com. It is NOT The Pottsville Inn...... It is The Pottsville Hotel. That created a great deal of confusion initially. I did pay extra for upgraded room, but no window(?) so I wonder what the upgrade was. Staff was helpful, we requested extra towels and a light bulb in one of the sconces. We got the extra towels but bulb was not replaced. A fire alarm went off in our room at 2:03 am while we were fast asleep...... not too happy about that but I managed to shut it off. Make sure to turn it back on in room 319"
