"Clean room, respectful staff in the reception, good parking and overall comfortable stay. The breakfast was good but very disorganized. It would be helpful to have more than 1 person taking care of breakfast and organize the breakfast items on the counter better so there is a flow to it. You cannot expect one person to be able to serve eggs, bacon, and sausages, refilling coffee and other breakfast items, empty garbage and clean the tables."
"Clean rooms, there as a pool and a slide too. But understandably there were bugs on it due to the season but it's a nice addition for families with kids that want to have options of playgrounds close by."
"Property was conviently next to gas station, HWY 20 and 5 minutes to ferry. Easy parking with a St Hubert’s as part of motel. Only negative was parking slots were #, but doors into motel units were marked with two numbers, leading some to park in their wrong slot if they weren’t looking. The two #s on entrance were confusing, until you went through the first door and found a common weather free corridor that had access to your specific room. Quit place to spend the night."
"We stayed here for two nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they're well laid out and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. While the rooms aren't completely soundproof, the hotel was quiet during our visit, so noise was never an issue.
The location is excellent;very central and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Having parking available was a big plus, as we were able to leave the car and explore the city on foot.
The staff were exceptional: warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They gave us great recommendations for places to visit, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights was the beautiful lake behind the hotel. It was wonderful to go for a swim in the morning or afternoon, and the trails surrounding the lake were stunning. We even spotted some wildlife, which made our walks even more memorable.
The complimentary breakfast was appreciated, but unfortunately there weren't any vegan options available, which was disappointing since we follow a vegan diet.
There were also a couple of maintenance issues that could use attention. The shower had quite a bit of mold and would benefit from a deep clean. The toilet also had an improperly sized seat that was noticeably smaller than the bowl, making it look odd and uncomfortable to use.
Overall, this is a great place to stay thanks to its fantastic location, friendly staff, convenient parking, and beautiful lakeside."
"Emplacement dans un village tranquille. Propriétaires très accueillants et accommodants (j'avais besoin d'un congélateur et comme il n'y en avait pas dans le frigo de la cuisine ils m'ont fait une petite place dans le leur)."
"It was great to spend some nights in a homelike atmosphere with a full kitchen, washer, dryer, patio and space to move around in the middle of our vacation. And it’s in a great location because you take the ferry over to Tadoussac every time you go to town. The ferry is free, it’s always running and we saw whales from the ferry 5 out of 8 rides. We never sat in our car more than 5 minutes before getting on the ferry bc 2 operate all day long. Also, there was a coffee and sandwich hut right across the street!"
"Very good for what it is. Sound proof could be better, because we were hearing the other rooms easily, even if they weren't speaking loud. Still, recommended."
