We enjoyed the history of her property and her husband with their collection of antique items on property. The history of their business was very interesting to listen to. The room was comfortable and well appointed as well and the bed was very comfortable to sleep in."

"We arrived quite late and it was a little difficult to find in the dark, but our hosts were able to come out to meet us at the gate. The hosts were amazing! We arrived as guests and left after 4 nights feeling like family. They are wonderful. The breakfast was home made with more variety than we could wish for. Best breakfast we have had in Italy! If you are wanting to stay in the Modena area, this is a great place to call home for a few days. Hosts are 11/10!"

"Room was pretty clean other than light staining on the couch. AC could not be adjusted below 24C and there was no flatsheet - only a small duvet. I run very hot when I sleep so I didn't sleep great plus the smoke detector in the middle of the ceiling would flash pretty brightly throughout the night which also kept me up."

"The breakfast and the team down in the breakfast room made it a 5 star experience, great coffee and great spread of Italian goodies. Mostly cold food but hot dishes. There is a lovely little outside area to enjoy one of best hotel breakfasts i had in a while. The receptionist on arrival was functional rather than Friendly and when I wanted to ask a quick query they prioritiesed a telephone. I had single room, narrow bed and near the elevators so some noise coming into the room. So breakfast team overall made this a good experience. The waiter is a comedian"
