Clean accommodation, friendly and considerate staff. I grew up in England, and have had many plates of Fish and Chips in my life, however, very few have been as great as the 2 pieces of cod I enjoyed at Painter's Lodge bar/restaurant.

We enjoyed the ocean view room. It was very clean and comfortable. The food at the hotel restaurant was also great and I look forward to trying the other amenities on site another time. I would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our room and the hotel and surrounding property plus truly appreciated the upgraded room! It is definitely a site to see on the inside and out. I think the only negative is the menu and food options. They need to work on the menu, food presentation and preparation. I think that it definitely needs some real improvements. Everything else was great!

The lodge is currently being renovated.lots of noise, couldn’t use their beautiful lounge. Expressed my disappointment to Adill. ( had I known I could have picked different dates! ) was offered 10% discount on breakfast. Wow. Said he might be able to help on different Evergreen properties. Called two days later to inquire about staying in Uecluelet. Never returned my call.

The hot tub was under construction, so I was disappointed about that. My husband did say the restaurant staff was not friendly toward him at all although the hotel reception staff were very nice. I like the hotel and grounds. We were very comfortable in our room equipped with fireplace. We would stay again for sure.
