"Beautifully maintained property. Spacious air conditioned room. Very comfortable bed, bedding & pillows. Breakfast was delicious with fresh seasonal fruit, omelette one morning & French toast the next. Fresh orange juice & lots of hot coffee. Would definitely recommend & hope to return."

"Our second time staying here and it’s been great. The perfect stay if you want to just explore Placerville Main Street area as everything will be walking distance. This is a super historical building/hotel so keep that in mind and if you aren’t open minded to that, then it may not be for you. My husband and I on the other hand have loved both of our stays here and we are simple people. With that, even while it’s a very historical/old building, the rooms have always been clean and that is most important. The open balcony for all guests with seating was a nice way to either start your morning or end your evening’s."
