"We loved this campsite! Staff were welcoming and friendly, bungalow was clean and spacious with lovely views from the balcony. The site was lovely and peaceful in natural surroundings and beautiful scenery. River views from the pool area were just amazing. Pool area nice but we didnt get to use unfortunately. "Absolutely stunning property and incredible overall stay-beautiful room in Eira lodge, incredible breakfast daily (many items grown and/or baked on property), gourmet dinner and wine pairings, relaxing spa amenities and pool and lots of places to walk or hike to enjoy the view. Interesting and innovative wine tour with delicious tastings. Staff were exceptionally lovely and helpful to ensure every moment was enjoyed. We had an unobstructed view of the vineyard and property from our balcony/front porch and enjoyed some Quinta do Vallado port tonics and wine each evening. An absolutely tranquil place and experience-we will be back."

"Amazing stay. Stayed four nights and eat at the restaurant twice for supper. First supper, cheek pork with varieties of veggies. Incredible. 2nd supper veal steak. Very good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent wine made on property. Breakfast was all you needed and excellent. What you see on the photos is what you get. If I return to the Douro region, I would not hesitate to go back. Cheers"

"Um pouco distante se estiver sem carro. A 3 km tem a cidade de Armamar belíssima ; Estacionamento gratis Quarto amplo com refrigerador e ótimo WC; Visão privilegiada de um vale (não é o do Rio Douro). Falha só no primeiro dia porque acabou a água quente em pleno banho. Nos dias seguintes funcionou direitinho. Vale a pena se hospedar aqui."

"We had an exceptional stay here! The owner, Manuel, was so kind and helpful. He recommended several wonderful wineries and restaurants. The property is clean and beautiful. The pool is lovely. The breakfast was delicious and they were accommodating of food allergies. The location was very convenient. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Absolutely breathtaking. The views, the location, the service, the food. I could write a novel and not capture everything. If you have an opportunity to book the Six Senses, do it!! You’ll be tempted to skip breakfast because you’re cocooned in the delicious bedding. Resist that temptation. The breakfast is extravagant."
