"We were traveling with our six year old on her birthday and came across this property. We were looking in downtown Calvi but were attracted to this property given the proximity to the beach, the pool and water slide and the 2bd/ 2ba accommodations. Overall we had an amazing stay! The beach is incredible. It was also cool to be the only Americans on the property. This was a little hard on our daughter as she couldn’t really make friends but overall she didn’t mind when she went on the water...

Comfortable accommodation with all the basics - small cooker, microwave, fridge, etc. There is a long windy road to approach this place - approx. 2.5km - which has a lot of potholes. "Property was great, very close to the town, easy free parking across the road and a good breakfast. Our room was nice with a big private rerrace with sun beds and a sea view. Our stay was spoilt by some of the hotel policies. We booked the room with a terrace and sea view planning to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine and a snack. There was a big sign on each room door to say no food at all allowed in the room or a 100 euro fine. Further, there were no glasses, only tiny paper cups. Glasses are not allowed in the room either. We thought we would have to make do with a cup of tea, but the kettles were taken away from the rooms due to an electrical fault in the hotel. We had to go down to the bar for a plastic cup of hot water to make our tea - bit sad really."

Note that I had to keep my rucksack in a separate room downstairs (hotel policy) in that I had just completed the GR20- not an issue but something to know."

Perfect for sunsets and drinks on the terrace, with lovely staff who spoke very good English - and pretended to understand our terrible French. We stayed in a room with a sea view, which was well worth the small additional cost. Good value for money, and would stay here again!"
