"We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "

"Firstly no information on how to enter the property. Had to do an online search to find a contact number to speak the vendor. Who then gave us a passcode and what keypad to use to get access. Wardrobe within the room, had the right hand door hanging open on one hinge, with the top doors completely off. Tv in the room would not work unless connected to one of the devices. Whilst appreciating that it was a shared communal space which we did not use. Other residents were very loud . "

"The accomodation was not as advertised. It was so bad we had to book alternative accomodation elsewhere. So far we have no way of seeking a refund, so we do not recommend Hotels.com to anyone ever! "

"Great communication from owner before & after stay. property was clean, but tired in places. We were heading to Alton Towers so was a perfectly good place for 1 night at a reasonable price. "

"Lovely helpful staff, we stayed when it was 30 degrees and they went out of their way to find us a fan for the room. Basic rooms but spacious and clean which is all we needed. The pub is great, loads of parking, good food. Walking distance to Royal Derby hospital so ideal for our needs. Would recommend "

Great customer service

"Customer service was fantastic here. I visited during a heatwave and the receptionist sorted me out a fan for my room which was amazing - I would not have got much sleep without it! Food ont he restaurant was delicious and good value and again the service was very good, friendly and helpful."

"The service from the restaurant staff is impeccable. They are trained to a very high standard and we appreciate that attention to detail. We ordered from the Indian food menu and it was delicious with wine recommended by the server. Details that matter such as clean windowsills and soft furnishings and the small leisure centre This is the second stay and we will visit again"

"We booked this hotel to be near Emma Bridgewater and had never stayed in a Hilton Garden Inn before. We were delighted with the room - larger and much lighter than Premier Inn rooms, larger bathroom, good quality toiletries and very friendly staff. Will definitely look out for this chain in preference to Premier Inns in future! "
