"This place is on its last legs. My room had no phone, the curtains had burn holes and the mobile air conditioner was extremely loud.
The biggest concern was the condition of the room. Thankfully, I didn't find any bedbugs in the bed, but there were what appeared to be blood splatters on the ceiling. I requested a different room, but because of the Stampede, the hotel was fully booked and couldn't accommodate the request.
The hotel is pet-friendly, and there were quite a few cats and dogs during my stay, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to pets.
The only positives were the convenient location—it's within walking distance of the C Traim and only one stop from the Stampede grounds—and the fact that the bed appeared to be free of bedbugs.
Overall, you get what you pay for these days."
