We went to a hockey tournament in Calgary at Winsport. We were only 8 min away! The home was very clean, it had everything that we needed. The queen bed has a sag in it but the other beds were great. (Teenage boys did not care about the sag and slept well)
The kitchen had everything that we needed. Even a spring form cake pan that we made cinnamon rolls in! There is a BBQ. It worked but was difficult to start. The snow removal was done quickly as it snowed quite a bit while we were there.
There is a large TV and the kids enjoyed playing their games on it. There is lots of room at the dining table and the bathroom works great! ( a bit small but worked great!) We were a little frustrated that there was no were to put our toiletries but then realized on day two that there was a medicine cabinet behind the mirror! haha We just missed it. The hot tub is out back and the new snow made it difficult to get to.
Our kids (16,19, & 22) mentioned how much they enjoyed our trip to our sledge hockey tournament. We have went many years and this time was the best due to the home that we were able to stay in. Having a full sized oven and fridge gave me joy. If you are looking for modern finishes this is not your home. If you want comfy, and homey this is your place!! We stayed for 3 nights.
This is located close to many places. We saw the Children's Hospital on the way to Winsport. There is a Safeway a couple of min. away and many different types of restaurants. Hope you enjoy your stay!!
