"I've stayed here a number of times in the past and, regrettably, this stay didn't stack up to previous experiences I've had there. The driveway/sidewalk area at the front of the hotel was an icy nightmare; luckily the back side was clear. I realize it was winter but it didn't look like any attempts were made to minimize the snow or the ice in days. As an Expedia Platinum member my stay came with breakfast for two. At check in, I was asked if I'd prefer breakfast or drink tickets. I opted for the latter and, during previous visits, received two - even though I always travel solo. When I was asked if anyone would be joining me this trip and I responded in the negative, I only received one drink ticket, even when I questioned it. The room was comfortable, but the hotel is undergoing major renovations (which were not noted when I booked). One of the elevators is almost always on service for trades people working, and the other is used by guests and staff trying to move laundry and cleaning carts all at the same time. The remaining one is slow and rickety. The room cards also revoked room access prior to the 11 am checkout leaving several guests on my floor flocking to the front desk to get cards re-keyed just so we could finish leaving. (I had simply taken my suitcases to the car and was locked out when I returned to grab my last few remaining items.) The bar staff was very friendly and attentive but the furniture is starting to show its age and is looking very tattered."

"Hotel needs a deep clean and facelift! Our room was dirty when we checked in, black hair all over the bathroom floor, tons of dust and dirt on the floors. The beds were old and uncomfortable, with only a thin blanket. Even the toilet paper was awful. The restaurant however was good, we enjoyed the food and the breakfast. "
