"We loved our four days at the Fitzroy Island resort . It’s clean and semi modern enough to feel a little pampered but relaxed enough to walk around in bathers and wetsuits with snorkels on top of your head .
We went in July and the pool was too cold to use unfortunately, as it looked great . We snorkelled two or three hours a day and saw Turtles, reef fish , a Lion fish , Nemo , Stingrays . Reef sharks , even a bait ball !
Differently relaxing and easy . The walk up to the summit was a great achievement at least 1000 steep rock steps up, and I mean straight up from the resort , much longer and harder than expected. Rather good burn on the thighs .
Differently Fitzroy is a great place to stay , easy of the beach snorkeling , and the Foxy Cafe had reasonably priced food , I recommend the Calamari, very good !!"
