Always a pleasure to return to this property. Staff were oustanding as usual. Only one elevator working so some wait to go up and down. New lobby area great. Room met all expectations...air con worked well and hot water in the bathroom. See you again in February.

The room had a single queen sized bed and was smaller than I was expecting, but we were only there to rest and sleep so it was fine. It was clean and had nice hot water for showers. The mall is directly next door so that was a big plus. The restaurant Circa 1850, located right in front, had very good food also.

In the heart of Cagayan de Oro, with the main mall and restaurant that opens early for breakfast directly outside hotel lobby. The convenience of this location, along with warm welcomes within the hotel and reception and drivers always waiting outside to offer transportation that can be arranged by hotel, with two preteen children, this place met our expectations for a visit.

Next to the mall

Location is very central, next to one of the biggest mall in the city. Staff are helpful and friendly. The housekeeping staff are excellent.

Great Staff, Great Location but needs a refresh!

Excellent hotel staff all-throughout. Rooms are right-sized for the price and location is hard to beat. Rooms need a re-fresh however, and sheets/beddings and towels badly need replacement. Mold and seeping moist-in-walls and its associated smells will also have to be treated.

Location is very central

I love the location of the hotel being very central. Been here many times but this time was a letdown. The linens are worn and tired, desperately needing replacement. I showed photos of the torn towels and moldy pillows to the staff at reception who are very apologetic.

Once again, we were happy to return to this property, and were welcomed by a friendly and courteous staff. For us, its the best value and the most convenient for short stays in the downtown area, directly located a step away from both SM Premier and Limketkai shoppimg malls. The rooms are small, so anybody looking for more spacious accommodation might prefer to look elsewhwre but upu cznt beat the price, in our estimation. The Pancake House next door is open for nreakfast from 6AM. and indoor parlkng on the 2nd floor of the hotel is available.We will be back again soon! thanks for a great stay.

A pleasant return stay, due in part to the excellent, friendly and courteous staff. Water in the shower was hot and strong...so perhaps this issue is now fixed. Slow drainage was easily fixed by housekeeping. Grey towels were replaced by new white ones the aecond day. Looking forward to returning in a couple of months.

Very small rooms. Not even a chair or stool can comfortably fit. Practically only one dining option on the property (a cafe that is a bit expensive) so if you're up at 5 am and looking for coffee, tough luck. Only sundries in the room all-in one shampoo; not even soap inside the shower; no coffee or water. Which explains the low -- and great -- price, I suppose. But great location (surrounded by a big mall!), which is perfect for a night or two. Also great parking options.

Convenient location. Mall is practically less than a minute walk. Noisy if your room is next to street. Practically rooms are not noise insulated. You can hear the baby crying in the next room, street hawkers outside. Water pressure is not strong. Shower practically a trickle-depending on time of day. Very attentive and helpful staff.

Always a pleasure to return to this property, especially because of the courteous and friendly staff.If you are going to CDO for shopping and just want to walk to the downtown malls and stay somewhere convenient at a reasonable price, there is little beat Red Planet. Air conditioning in the room was super cold and we couldn't adjust the temperature so turned it off at night. Other than that it was a great stay. Will go back again soon

Always a pleasure to return once again to this property. The staff and it's location are excellent: housekeeping was prompt to fulfill requests, and the guard in the garage made sure we had parking despite the fact the hotel was full. Comments I made on previous stays regarding condition of towels and temperature of water seemed to hzve been heeded as both were now fine. The shower stall in our bathroom did not drain easily and we reported this to the front desk. We look forward to our be next stay here.

The latest of many stays at this property which remains my favorite place to stay in CDO, for its location, price, parking facility, and staff. One new addition in the lobby: a free water filling station. This time: there was plenty of hot water in the shower, and the air conditioning was easily adjusted for personal comfort. We mentioned to counter staff that the faucet in the bathroom was faulty. We look forward to returning in 2 months.
