"The hotel is far from luxury, for 100$ more we could’ve stayed at st Regis. Big mistake. We only picked this hotel for the reason of being a landmark hotel but pictures are decieving. Everyone should be aware that the hotel is only one of the buldings in the picture the other building looked like it was some sort of aid which affects the crowd in the restaurant. The staff are friendly but front desk wasn’t so much of a help Valet guy AK was amazing he was the best part of the hotel. They check us into a room where it might have been a corner room and it was tight for a superior deluxe king room it felt way overrated "

"Overall a good stay at The Melrose Georgetown Hotel — nice room, good atmosphere, and great location. A couple of things to note: the AC wasn’t working properly, and the room stayed in the 70s even when adjusted. We arrived late and couldn’t get assistance, so we had to open the window to cool it down. Also, valet parking is offered without clearly stating the cost upfront (around $80), and there’s an additional daily historical fee that isn’t very transparent until checkout. Aside from that, everything else was smooth and comfortable."

"The location is ideal! A lot of restaurants very close and walkable distance for the tourists places. Clean and nice rooms. The staff was very friendly and communicative. Although for the end of the season (winter) the city does not allow the hotel to use heat they provide us a couple of warmers and solve the problem. There are parking spots at the property. My family wanted to stay again ! "

"This is a lovely place in an excellent location. The rooms are well outfitted and spacious. The restaurant did not seem open and with all the coffee options nearby it was unappealing to give the hotel coffe bar a try. Regardless I would definitely stay here again. "

"I am shocked how affordable this was as it's in the best part of Georgetown. The housekeeping staff are so sweet, the rooms were clean, and the kitchen was an amazing touch. Even though the canal was not filled during our stay, it was a so nice to look out on the trail and canal. My one critique is if you need to drop off your luggage, the lockers currently don't have keys to lock them."
