Caceres hotel rooms a the OYO Rooms

"På grund af det flinke og venlige personale, vælger vi at give 4 stjerner i stedet for kun 3. Stedet er ikke nyt længere. Der er en bar, men uden mulighed for at sælge cocktails. Fint men begrænset menukort. Meget fordelagtige priser på mad/drikke 🙂 Begrænset udvalg af drikkevarer i restaurant. Værelser mod hovedindgangen er med meget støj fra vejen. Poolen virkede grumset, og filter system så ikke ud til at være i drift… Vi kunne dog godt komme igen en anden gang 🙂"

"Beautifu pools, fabulous beach (on high tide) excellent scube diving crew, food selection was the usual fare, atrium and pool areas well presented, great design, luxurious. Will stay again."

"Rooms are small but clean and with good aircon. Good that there is an airport shuttle, and that it’s also really close to the ferry terminal. Very noisy though if you’re on the end, it’s like there isn’t a window in, and you can hear everything outside so clearly. Didn’t realise there was a communal kitchen / pantry on each floor, would be good to explain this at check in as I was disappointed not to have a fridge. "

"Large clean and cozy room. King size bed was comfortable which provided much needed sleep. The tub in the room was so relaxing with a fantastic view of nature. Hot water was steady in the bathroom. AC was respite from the outside humidity. The restaurant offered ample sized delicious home grown cooked meals. The staff from the reception, security, environmental services & cleaning crews to the restaurant were actively engaged to ensure you’re attended swiftly. Shout out to Jane!!! This is the place to watch the sunset. North Zen Villas is the sister resort of Oceanic; this resort is quiet and a short ride from the party scene of Alona Beach. Overall, this resort is a solace from a busy hectic life. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. "

"The room was clean and spacious, the Staff was fantastic in being both extremely kind and helpful. The restaurant was exceptionally good both the Breakfast and dinner entrees were excellent. I spent a few weeks at The Lighthouse and will absolutely recommend a stay. JB "

" Sumilon Blue Water Resort is an incredibly beautiful escape, made even more special by the exceptionally friendly and hardworking staff. From the moment we arrived, every staff member greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel immediately welcome. "

"Staff did not say hello or welcome us politely upon arrival, but did let us check in about 20 minutes early. Later in the day, we returned to the "shack", and noticed there was no hand soap in the bathroom, we asked for the WiFi password, and asked for the remote control to the television. We were then given some confusing excuse that the TV did not work due to compilcations due to the COVID lock down (which as we all know happened about 3 years ago at this point). The story about the unavailability of the TV became the sticking point in the minds of the couple running the hostel. When we tried to reassure the woman that we were disapointed about the TV, but were willing to go without, for some inexplicable reason she pressed the issue and began asking for forgiveness and walked away, only to come back to our room two more times, knocking heavily, insisting on speaking with us on the issue again! My wife asked her to stop disturbing us which she seemed reluctant to do. Finally, my wife felt uneasy after our interaction with the woman and insisted we find another hotel due to the uprofessional behaviour of the couple running the place and the unavailability of hostel staff. I regret leaving this negative review, but honestly do not understand why our experience is so different compared to other reviews here. The husband told me, that if we were not happy, to go ahead and complain to Expedia. I cannot recommend this place. Avoid at all costs, not worth the price or convenience."
