The Hotel looks really nice but !!!! It’s in an ancient part of town with very narrow streets and we were in our Car. There is no parking at the hotel and the whole of the Historic area is covered with cameras which are monitored by the police ! Don’t take a car to this Hotel.

Deluxe hotel in heart of Caceres!

This hotel has a fabulous location:1-2 minute walk to either the old town or the plaza mayor. The staff speaks English very well. It has a very intimate feel and the rooms are quite comfortable. I liked it so much I rebooked for October.

Lovely hotel, breakfast improvement!

Returned few days later after road trip, check in staff were excellent, very efficient and helpful. Massive improvement with breakfast, back to normal, excellent standard. Dinner was delicious and our serving staff super friendly and attentive. How we remember the hotel to always be.

Great location in front of a plaza. We didn’t like the ‘superior’ room with a small window and steel bars, we were expecting to get a room with a balcony and exterior glass doors.

Room was wore out and with scratches all over the floor. Frame of bathroom door was out. Poor property maintenance. Mini bar not operational - refrigerator not working. Breakfast buffet service was slow and not very friendly. They seemed to be understaffed. Reception personnel was good and friendly.

A review

Lovely old hotel in historic city centre. Friendly, quick & helpful checkin. Comfy bed, good shower, though room was pretty dark with small windows looking into small courtyard. Ate in hotel. Was ok not as good as other NH ones I’ve been to. I have to say there isn’t much in Caceres. The old part of town can be done in a couple of hours and though the plaza mayor is pleasant, it seems rather quiet.

Encontré dos fósforos quemados en el fondo del inodoro. Una indicación de que alguien había usado el baño antes de que yo ingrese a la habitación. No puede reportar este hallazgo a la recepción por el interno, pues el número que indica el teléfono (está escrito) no comunica. Nadie responde. Fui a la recepción y el encargado me dijo te seguro alguien había encendido una vara de incienso… (plop!) No se inmutó! No había perchas en el armario… El último día, cuando me duchaba me di con la sorpresa de que no había jabón líquido en el bote de la ducha… un disgusto Cada vez que reporté algo como esto, la respuesta de los encargados de la recepción apuntaba a que la culpa es del pasajero. No me gustó esa actitud. Las instalaciones muy buenas, eso sí. Pero eso, sin servicio adecuado… hmmmm

Prachtig Palacio in Caceres

Prachtig Palacio vlakbij de Plaza Mayor en het historische centrum van Caceres. Behulpzaam personeel. Op verzoek kregen we meteen een andere kamer, omdat de eerste alleen een raam hoog in de muur had. Heerlijk ontbijt. Parkeren kan op een vijftal minuten lopen van het hotel - bagage in- en uitladen kan wel voor de deur.

Such a gorgeous hotel, right in the middle of the old town. The rooms were beautiful, modern, and clean, and staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Parking was secure and close by, and staff were very helpful providing directions on check in. Such an amazing stay, we would return in a heartbeat.
