Universal Grand León & Spa

"Really wonderful hotel, three nights here provided an amazing opportunity to relax. Wonderful area by the pool and fantastic seaview restaurant. Very welcoming staff and lovely clean rooms. Short walk to a small town with great restaurants, although you're well provided for at the hotel. Nearby is the iberostar where we also considered staying, which has a great rooftop bar worth visiting, but overall very glad that we stayed at the Grand Leon because the overall atmosphere and space to unwind was perfect. Particularly appreciated the last day, where we had a late flight but were given the opportunity to relax by the pool for the afternoon and then use the courtesy room to change and shower before we left for the airport. Would recommend to anyone and would be delighted to return."

"This hotel is very family-friendly, with plenty of activities and entertainment from morning until night. There are pool games, sports activities, evening shows, circus performances, magic shows, and even a silent disco. The all-inclusive package offers delicious meals at four restaurants, as well as snacks, coffee and most drinks at cafe, food truck and bars throughout the day. There are also excellent sports facilities and a sports bar. It’s an ideal place for kayaking, paddleboarding, and snorkeling. The beachfront location is beautiful, and the sea is calm and crystal clear, making it easy to see fish swimming in the water. Putting water shoes on can be required as rocks under the beach. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. The only downside is that it can feel quite crowded this time as it’s a very popular resort. When the time is not peak, I would like to cone again"

"The only gripe was the shower room, sink and toilet all in the bedroom with no separating door. Shower and toilet doors are glass with only a third frosted. Absolutely no privacy. I shared a garden room with my 80yr old mum and 4yr old son. Size of room was adequate. Wanting to give my mum the double bed meant she was on the sofa bed, which was very comfy, but it meant she had to come and use the loo whilst we were in bed, in the twin room, which is not nice at all for her or us. Apart from that the hotel and everything else was brilliant"
