"Reasonable value given the upkeep…but given that its on the beach and right off the trail…it suited us adults just fine. A great place to stop off for the night while experiencing the entire island, but not exactly a place I’d want to stay longer than that. Everyone was respectful and friendly and it was quiet given that it was at full capacity while we were there."

"Rooms were functional. No charm except in common areas. Never changed the towels ( there 3 nights). Never came in the room to straighten up. Dinners were excellent. Good choice of wine. Breakfasts were adequate. Not special. Limited information about surrounding restaurants or places to visit except from brochures. No walkable areas"

"Clean room and nice location away from the busy towns. 15 mins to the Cabot Trail, 25 to Baddeck. Three outdoor fire pits with plenty of seating for all. Housekeeping on request, very helpful and quick to respond. There is a trade off with the lower price, there is no microwave or coffee maker, there is a small spot around the corner that makes great coffee called Dans Things. We stayed six nights and bout a cheap electric kettle at Walmart 20 mins away in Sydney. Fridge and AC worked great. I would stay here again!"

"Nice location, lots of space. I looked around thoroughly in the space for cleaning issues as we were travelling with kids. We did find mice droppings in the cutlery drawer and other kitchen drawers which means a fail. Under beds, couch etc filthy. Any accomodation needs frequent deep cleaning and it looks like the are skipping this. Rodent issues need to be addressed. General cleanliness is below standard and needs to be taken care of. Otherwise a nice property."
