"We were very disappointed with our experience at Riu Palace Cabo, primarily due to how our concerns were handled by the lobby staff. We reported a significant mosquito problem in our room and requested a room change, but our complaints were completely disregarded. Even after showing them the bug bites on my daughter, the only response we received was a brief apology with no effort to resolve the issue or accommodate us. This lack of responsiveness and care was frustrating and not what we expected from a resort of this standard. On a positive note, the ground staff and restaurant teams were hardworking, attentive, and did their best to provide good service. Their efforts did not go unnoticed and were appreciated. Overall, while some parts of the experience were good, the poor handling of a genuine concern by the front desk left us feeling let down."

"So clean! Never overly crowded, and the food was amazing. Drinks were great and the pools were fantastic. Worth every penny. "

"We had a beautiful ocean view from our hotel, but unfortunately the experience didn’t match the price. The windows were very dirty, which took away from the view. We also had issues with hot water—after calling reception, they said it was fixed, but the same problem happened again the next day. Food and drinks at the hotel were extremely expensive. While relaxing on a beach sunbed, one server stood nearby watching as we filled out the receipt, clearly waiting to see how much we would tip, which felt uncomfortable. Overall, the stay was disappointing. Cabo ended up feeling more expensive than Los Angeles, and there was a constant expectation for tips. Sadly, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again."
