"Room was adequate but very old, bathroom food didn’t close, AC and heating was temperamental. We have been staying at Split Rock for more than 20 years now and they need to invest a bit more into the facility. On the upside, the pool is still good, common areas are maintained and gym is newly renovated and with all new equipment. "

"The wi-fi was terrible, but the hotel restaurant was wonderful and the breakfast was very good. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. There was a notice advising that they were renovating and that should improve the overall feel"

"Called 2 hrs past cancellation cut off due to car troubles. Even with Expedia calling they refused to credit me. After a 12 hr drive we made it to the hotel. Every inch of this place was disgusting. From the building, lobby, grounds and room. The front desk person was unsympathetic and again refused to give me my money back. Again Expedia called to solve the issue without success. DONOT STAY here. Disgusting on all levels"
