"Really wonderful accommodation. Walking distance to town. Not a hotel but a guest house in a refinished and vibrantly appointed (200 year-old?) historical home newly acquired and attentively managed by Sandra, Michael and son Valentin who were the most welcoming, engaging and thoughtful hosts imaginable. "We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Considering the price, this was a great value option in the Medoc wine region. The hotel is a little dated but clean and well maintained. The reception staff are great. The only thing that could have improved our stay was having more to do around the hotel with young children. With the outdoor pool out of action we were able to use the indoor pool at lunchtime and dinner time each day but otherwise there wasn't much to do. It would be great for example if they could install some petanque courts and provide the equipment. Also more bikes, we were interested in hiring bikes but someone else had hired them."
