"The place felt very safe and in a nice setting with plenty of green outside space. Rooms were very clean and spacious with nice private front terraces. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially the onwer, Agnes, who arranged sightseeing trips in the area, airport transfer (15 mins) and other transport for us. "The photos do not give an accurate impression of the property. It was probably quite imposing when it was new but the outside is now very scruffy. The hotel is difficult to find, it does not look like a hotel ad there are no signs. There is a large sign for a betting shop across the front of the building. There is no lift and the hotel has many floors. The only breakfast offered was matoke and rice from 0930 am. Staff were friendly and helpful and made every attempt to keep the hotel clean but...

"There are apparently 'executive suites' which my wife viewed and thought were beautiful. There are also those that are less expensive and not executive. We stayed for four nights in the less expensive one. At first there were a few things that we had hoped to see but were not in the room however the management and staff (Henry in particular) did everything possible to make our stay better and provide the room with some things that were lacking. "The property is beautiful and serene, the front desk staff need a little more training as instead of checking for my bookings first asked me to prove that I had booked and paid online. In fact they assured me that I would be put out as all rooms were filled up, when I asked to talk to their manager is when they looked and found my name actually on the list. Otherwise my stay was lovely, I will go again with family n friends."
