"Property is within easy walking distance of the airport and rental cars. The rooms have been recently updated and they are also very clean. They have a large restaurant with good food on site. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone needing a place to stay near the airport. "

"Room was spacious and bed comfortable. The shower / toilet and vanity arrangement was unusual in that the vanity area was open . Note there are no coffee facilities in the room."

"The staff is fantastic. The bunk beds are comfy & clean. They have daily activities in the common room (beer & whiskey tastings). The hostel is in the middle of many important historical sites. Right on the Royal Mile & close to Edinburgh Castle."

"Relatively basic, but comfortable, hotel, although with a peculiar bathroom set-up. The bathroom was a raised circular addition to a room that likely didn’t have facilities or was previously student housing. A space pod would best describe it. As a result, it was relatively cramped with limited counter space. No phone in the room. On the other hand, a good hot breakfast was available at extra cost. And very very close to the Royal Mile. This fact alone rises above the room criticisms, so go with the proximity to the attractions over minor criticisms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They knew the places to see and places to eat. Overall, a good place to see Edinburgh. "
