"I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. "On the beach- it felt like people were walking on your front garden. Beautiful home and everything thought of- tea bags, coffee and wine included. Great communication throughout. Clean, washing machine and bleach etc all there. Loved it and it’s location. Parking a bit of a bother and luck (being in October!)"

"Centrally located hotel with a nice bar which had live jazz music on Friday afternoons. The rooms seem fairly new in their decor and there was a nice comfortable bed. We were given the option of taking an accessible room as we booked very last minute and it was incredibly spacious and we didn't hear any noise. We didn't eat in the hotel. "

"Really friendly welcome at reception and we quickly got our keys for two twin rooms. The rooms were fine, clean and comfortable. We used the hotel to stay overnight before a Channel Tunnel crossing which was just 10 minutes away. It was the cheapest hotel that I could find in the area and exceeded my expectations. The decor was improved from the hotel's appearance on Channel 4's "4 In A Bed" a few years previous. Slightly disappointed that they don't offer breakfast, but Gingers in Hythe was excellent. "
