"Mountain view was beautiful. Room was huge for a double bed occupancy- you get an entire upstairs area for kitchen, dining and relaxing. Hot water in the shower area had a bit of issue but bath tub worked fine. Enjoyed our stay as the area is quiet, safe plus we got to see some stars out of balcony at night. Breakfast was delicious."

"We used Fairly as a base to Lake Tekapo which is a 30 minute drive from Fairlie. The Pinewood is a short drive or 5 minute walk into town on the Tekapo road so was convenient. While accommodation is slightly dated, it is clean, well presented and was value for money. Our room had a relatively new split system air conditioner which provided good space heating. Staff were very good. The bathroom/toilet was clean and more spacious that I was expecting. On site parking is at the front door to each unit. We were pleased with our stay and would do so again if visiting the area."

"Very basic but clean, dated property and rooms. Need a good sitting chair in the room. Breakfast was 2 options and very minimal servings. Location to the lake is good. For the price we expected a nicer property. "

"Didn’t see any staff on that day. There's no shampoo, body wash just a handwash in the shower. No face tower, just one hand tower in the shared bathroom/toilet for the whole house. Love the kitchen and lounge area, clean and tidy. "

"No kitchen, just a microwave, kettle toaster, fridge and a washing up bowl. Never met the staff! Good to have under cover parking outside our unit as it was raining when we left."
