"Honestly we are surprised at the high score review for this hotel. It's a very average hotel, in a boring location, finishes are low end, rooms are small and the floor was not vacuumed. On the plus side, our king bed was comfortable and the bathroom. And the highlight was the breakfast which was good. "

"The hotel was nice and had a very well designed entry and lobby. They do charge for parking which i can never understand if you are a guest why wouldn’t parking be free or included? It is on a busy strip in Wilmington so maybe they have an issue with non guests parking there but you should never charge your guest to park that’s tacky and will always leave a bad taste in my mouth. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. "

"The property was very nice and the staff very helpful. I do think the photos are a bit misleading. I booked a bay view room from the photos and all the rooms look over a parking lot...then the bay. The rooms are renovated in a bohemian beachy vibe but lack overhead lighting so can be pretty tough to see. Also lack of counter space in the bathroom and storage."

"The staff were very friendly, and they recommended some great places to eat, but I was very disappointed that the rooms didn't have microwaves, but they had sinks and refrigerators, that truly didn't make any sense. We did enjoy the breakfast (Yogurt especially). But I will say Hilton the rooms need microwave, after a long ride or day of site seeing we want to relax, reheat our food without going in the lobby (comfortable)."
