Play golf on one of the nearby courses or visit a local vineyard and winery to sample some of the region’s finest wines.
Head to Meryla State Forest, Wingello State Forest and Morton National Park to explore the native bushland that extends to the east and south of Bundanoon. Check out natural wonders such as the Fairy Bower Falls, Fitzroy Falls and the mysterious Glow Worm Glen. Find the walking track near Bundanoon after dark and wander along the boardwalk. Visit in April for the famous Scottish-themed celebration at the Bundanoon Highland Gathering. Find yourself in Brigadoon for the day and see street parades, bagpipe bands, highland dancing and Scottish games. If you visit in spring, attend the annual Garden Ramble in October and gain access to some of Bundanoon’s most prized private gardens. Drive, cycle or catch the free shuttle bus travelling between the sprawling cool-climate gardens.
