Old motel close to shops and the river. The rooms have been updated and were clean and comfortable. No street noise to annoy your rest. Car parking is a bit tight for larger vehicles. There is a pool and tables&chairs which looked well maintained. Overall a good place to stay at and the price was great.

I’ve stayed at Alexandra Park Motor Inn more than four times now, and it never fails to impress. The rooms are incredibly spacious and the facilities feel modern and well-maintained. As someone who travels frequently, I truly value the comfort here—especially the pillows, which are exceptional. A huge thank you to Matthew, the lovely owner, and the entire team. Their hospitality is genuine and makes every stay feel personalized. It’s rare to find a place that consistently hits the mark on both comfort and service. Highly recommended!

I have stayed here several times already, probably three or four visits, and every experience has been very pleasant. The owners and staff are all wonderful, friendly, and welcoming. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, which makes the stay really relaxing. I especially enjoyed the spa pool, which was very nice after a long day. Some room types only have a shower instead of a bathtub, but it is still very convenient and simple to use. The check-in process is easy and straightforward. The location is excellent and the price is very reasonable for the space and comfort provided. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Staff were helpful hard working and very obliging. Close to town Rooms clean but no hand rails for handicapped or aged, Bathroom floor slippery and shower very old. Very small shallow sink in bathroom that doubled as a kitchen wash up and bathroom hand basin. Fridge small and drip tray leaking. Beds comfortable, but main area claustrophobic. No space to store food. Very small table and 2 chairs, Good air con, Good hot water. Parking outside door. Overall 2 stars.
