"We checked in on the first day to find out the hotel was half under construction. We were never given this information in advance nor was it advertised in any way on the website or reservation. The workout room was closed which was extremely disappointing and again, we were never told in advance or would have chosen a different hotel. The one elevator that was working was sketchy, at best. None of the machines were working on our floor, there was hair in the shower and when I tried to wash it...

"The $400 room was way over priced to have had to have taken a cold shower. No hot water! After receiving a half hearted "sorry" from the receptionist, I had to ask her for some compensation. She refunded the parking fee only! That was my second time to stay there, won't do that again!"

"The property is beautiful, front desk was professional, breakfast was great. The room was a different story. The curtain must be completely open otherwise the ac blows straight up into the very large voluminous curtain and not into the room at all. The bed is a lowrider about a foot off the ground and the mattresses are set inside some kind of roomy wooden box atop a nest of old hair and dead bugs. The mattresses are like blankets on cardboard. "We were only there two nights, but the room was just what we needed. It was clean and spacious enough for us and our two grandchildren, ages 7 and 10. After our long drive, the shower’s great water pressure and consistent temperature were especially appreciated. The kids enjoyed the pool and all of us were able to find something we liked at the breakfast buffet.
