"The owners have recently taken over this property and go out of their way to make the stay a pleasant one. There is parking for each room . Breakfast comes with the price of the room and is a selection of fruit, yoghurt or pastries as well as coffee, tea and/or juices. It is very reasonably priced."

"It was like stepping back in time. Cynthia and Dave have decorated and set up these rooms, dating back to 1894, just amazingly. Comfortable, spacious and delightful surroundings right in the heart of downtown Buffalo. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Talking with Cynthia on the phone, she was very friendly, helpful and accommodating! Then later Dave stopped by and dropped off some homemade rhubarb bread, what a treat! He was also very friendly and offered lots of information about the building and the improvements he and Cindy have done to it. Again, our stay was totally amazing."

"We arrived at 8:01pm Sunday evening. I wasn't able to get a response to the door bell in the lobby. A note on the office door stated " No response to bell after 8pm. My wife called a # listed on a property sign. The person she talked to was a former employee who was now out off state. Her explanation of the situation was not encouraging. As we sat in our car trying to determine our next move Jackie arrived. (She had recently taken over the management. ) She informed us that she would call the owner and try to resolve the situation. To make long story short, our $$ was refunded thru Expedia by the owner 's request. Thanks Jackie and the former manager (I ve forgot her name). Their efforts saved the day."
