"This hotel has been built with great care & attention. The cabin structures are solid, beautifully enclosed and finished and still somehow they fit in with the environment. The staff were excellent and wow, the chef's vegan meals were superb. "Beware! The only property access is a STEEP 200 metre cowpath over tree roots would be dangerous in rain. There were no clear signs Had to drive on that to go back to Bacalar, 25 km. away. Or room was in a building across from the gated facilities on the beach. We were not allowed to use the beach chairs, kayaks etc. Nor was there any breakfast or coffee available for purchase.
