We have stayed at Ritz-Carlton hotels around the world, and I can confidently say that The Ritz-Carlton, Tenerife, has once again exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the level of service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality was simply outstanding. We stayed in The Retreat, in a beautiful One-Bedroom Suite with Ocean View, and the entire experience was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly and professionally by the staff. We were transported by car to the private check-in area, where we were offered refreshing drinks and made to feel incredibly special. Although check-in was at 4 pm and we had to wait a little while for our suite, the hotel ensured we were comfortable and could enjoy its wonderful facilities, along with complimentary drinks and delicious nibbles included as part of our suite experience. "Friendly staff who were happy to help. Bar staff remembered people and their drinks. Variety of food selection on offer. Lots of sun loungers on offer although the hotel can block the sun occasionally. The room was fine, clean and spacious. Room and general internal areas of the hotel looked slightly old / outdated however no complaints. Only one issue was in the final morning before checking out, there was a fairly large leak coming from the ceiling above the shower, this didn’t affect me as I was preparing to leave and reception staff did apologise and arrange the maintenance crew to check."

"This was our 2nd visit to the hotel with our 3 year old. Clean room on arrival and room was cleaned every day new clean towels when requested, we took a spare absorbent sheet to put on our toddlers bed that was washed without being asked which was so kind, all staff very friendly, bar staff always happy to help, pool very clean and plenty of sun loungers all day so no need to go to the pool early in the morning to try and reserve sun beds. Lovely selection of food catering for all needs and dietary requirements. Arcades are great for kids and pool tables for adults. Photos can be taken by staff by pool and around the hotel but perhaps expect these to be done a little more professionally for the price. Minimum is €15 per photo with a minimum purchase of 5 if you also want these digitally. Pool towels are supplied with a deposit paid which is refunded at the end of your stay. Great selection of activities to choose from although we were a little disappointed that the soft play is no longer at this hotel. Evening entertainment is great although worrying that the disco and inside entertainment is over the safe decibel limit for children so this will need to be improved for us to return. "The location was great, tons of food options around. The rooms can get extremely hot and stuffy as the AC doesn't seem to be the best and sometimes even question if it is actually working. They now charge an absorbent amount for parking, I remember going here 2 years ago and was charged less than half of what I was charged this time. It cost 320 euro for parking for 2 weeks. Otherwise the rooms and all common areas were very clean and overall I had a good stay."
