My four days in Budapest were better than I had anticipated only of because of the staff and their professionalism and friendliness in making sure that I was comfortable during my stay. Everyone at The 8 Hotel treated me like family during my stay.. Everything from providing great instructions when commuting on the Metro, Trams, Trolleys, and buses to recommendation to local restaurants and sightseeing spots.

This was the best stay! The staff were so kind and kept my bags because I got there before check in. The location is great because your near the major sites to see and near all the public transportation. The hotel had amazing ac so it was nice to come back from exploring to a cool room. The tv was modern so you can stream your shows and relax. There is a ton of supermarkets near by to get drinks and snacks as well as a ton of restaurants.

Good value overall, but a few drawbacks to keep in mind. On the positive side, it's a new hotel in a quiet location close to most attractions. I was able to walk everywhere and the staff provided very warm, welcoming service, the room was clean. However, there is no elevator, making it non-accessible for wheelchair users or elderly guests with bad knees. The rooms are on the 2nd floor, so elevator is not neccessary for those that can walk. Noise insulation is also an issue, as the gap under the door lets you hear everything outside. My room setup was particularly awkward with the head of the bed facing the door gap, this layout felt off and the incoming light and noise interrupted my sleep. A nice price for the quality overall.
