"Lovely setting, most staff good with a couple of real stand outs. However, there were issues that you wouldn't expect from a 5* hotel. Our room was boiling hot and stuffy when we arrived. It was warm and the sun shining in for days, but the AC had no effect. Even opening windows to try and get some air in and forcing the AC to be always on it was unbearable. Reported to reception asked for a room change “we’re fully booked” which I know wasn’t true. Staff attempted to fix when we were out, but...

"The shower was broken. I told the concierge on the first day, and after 4 nights there it was still not fixed. It floods past my ankles and sprayed everywhere and the shower head kept falling. Additionally, my water bottles were not replaced daily (even after leaving a note asking the cleaning person). I had to ask multiple times for more toiletries. Very clean though and beautiful property. Just a little "grey gardens-y""
